
In your space, practice just being. Calm the sense of urgency to get anything done for the moment. Acknowledge that it can wait, because self-care and self-love are more important.
Learn to restrain yourself from the immediate need to act/react.
We are often going about our day with a sense of urgency to be, do, or get things done. If something were to happen to us, it would have to wait anyway, right? Why not take this time to learn how to put yourself first above all else, if not for just a little bit each day.
Let that sense of urgency go as you practice your meditation and breathing. The work or task will be there when you are done!
