My Latest Protective Style!

I did two-strand twists all over. Then, I pinned them up in the back and on the sides. I used flexirods to curl the top twists. At night, I put the flexirods in. In the morning, I just take the flexirods out, fluff, and go! It’s an easy, protective style. And, it beats fighting the humidity this time of year. This is me on Day 2.

Below, is me on Day 6. I took the twists,  on the top, apart and added some cute pins on each side – done! The curl definition of the twist-out is great, probably because the twists were so small. I may go one more week with this style. I like it, and it’s perfect for workout days, too!

BUT, when you trim away old dead ends, you make room for new healthy, stronger hair. So, here are three tell-tell signs that you need to trim your hair:

  1. You have split ends
  2. You have damaged hair
  3. Your hair is out of shape
