It is that time of year again. My job offers the flu shot to all employees for free. It is highly recommended unless you have an allergy. Of course, I got my shot. But, there are many ways to prevent you and your family from getting sick this winter season. Here are just a few:

- Wash hands often and well
- Don’t share toothpaste tubes
- Use paper towels
- Use disinfectants
- Use other creative barriers: press elevator buttons with your key, knuckle, or elbow

- Zinc
4. Get Plenty of Exercise and Rest
